Highlights from the 2010 Red Barn Festival

The annual Red Barn Festival is the biggest fundraiser for the Stanford Equestrian Team, and this year's was an unprecedented success that brought the team over $50,000. Highlights included

A victory by Stanford Equestrian's Nicoletta Heidegger in the Five Bar
Students battling alumni in a relay race on Icelandic ponies
Sandhaven Farm winning the $8,000 Stanford Invitational
The unveiling of the Bill Lane Memorial Trophy
Gourmet wine and eats all day!

Stanford Equestrian

The Stanford Equestrian Team is located at Stanford's historic Red Barn. Our hunt seat side boasts eight consecutive years of team Regional Championships, Zone Championships, and top ten finishes at the IHSA National Championships, and most recently finished as the IHSA Reserve National Championship team in 2013. In the past seven seasons, the western contingent has earned four team Regional Championships and most recently produced the 2008 and 2010 National Reserve Champion AQHA High Point Rider. In only its second full season in 2013, the dressage team won the regional championship title for the Intercollegiate Dressage Association's Region U and made its first-ever trip to represent Stanford at the IDA National Finals.
