Stanford Red Barn Hosts the Budweiser Clydesdales

The Stanford Red Barn welcomed ten Budweiser Clydesdales (and the Budweiser dalmatian, Brady!) this past week. To the delight of our boarders and equestrian team, these impressive horses called Stanford their home for five days as their tour passed through the Bay Area.

The Stanford Equestrian Team is located at Stanford's historic Red Barn. Our hunt seat side boasts eight consecutive years of team Regional Championships, Zone Championships, and top ten finishes at the IHSA National Championships, and most recently finished as the IHSA Reserve National Championship team in 2013. In the past seven seasons, the western contingent has earned four team Regional Championships and most recently produced the 2008 and 2010 National Reserve Champion AQHA High Point Rider. In only its second full season in 2013, the dressage team won the regional championship title for the Intercollegiate Dressage Association's Region U and made its first-ever trip to represent Stanford at the IDA National Finals.
